To the general public, Georgian filmmaker Alexandre Koberidze is perhaps best known for his second feature film, What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?, lauded at the 2021 Berlinale.

As in many of Koberidze’s short films, Linger on Some Pale Blue Dot almost wordlessly shows how to look at the world with wonder. In this extraordinary short documentary, a small bakery prepares for the making of bread. We follow this everyday process step by step, including the waiting.

Alexandre Koberidze is this year’s Artist in Focus of Zomerfilmcollege 2024. On July 13, CINEA will present a selection of his short films to close Zomerfilmcollege.
