Collectif Faire-part

Collectif Faire-part is an ensemble of Belgian and Congolese artists. Together, they aim to tell new stories about Kinshasa and Brussels and the many complex relations between them. Besides their shared practice, they also try to support each other in their personal artistic projects. The group was founded by filmmakers Anne Reijniers, Paul Shemisi, Nizar Saleh, and Rob Jacobs in 2016. Over recent years, the collective of four has shape-shifted into a larger group of regular collaborators between Belgium and DR Congo, in which team compositions change with each project. Collectif Faire-part also curates film programmes, leads workshops, engages in photography, and organises festivals. The ensemble hopes to open Kinshasa’s first independent cinema in the years to come.
